a different dream

I was having dreams about jail, and Kerri said write about them, and that seems to have worked for now. Last night, the dream was different.

I was walking by a school, and the school looked a little like Hyde (my elementary school in Newton Highlands) but also had things that reminded me of Essex. There was a parking meter (which would be Hyde, not Essex), offering water for 25 cents. I bumped into the Phys Ed teacher from Essex, Linda Collins. Sarah was there, and younger, like she looked when she was a student in Essex. She was running, not smoothly, but without braces.

I didn’t talk to Sarah, and tried to go the other way, but Collins would follow me, and Sarah would follow. Collins had a bike with training wheels, and I asked her if Sarah would be able to pedal it, but Collins said the legs would not work that way. Collins told me whe had talked to my sister Alexa, and she said they realized the difference was I was the only one with benefits. I didn’t know what that meant, so I asked her to explain. She said I was the only one.
